Vision:
Physically, relationally, and spiritually healthy people contributing to thriving families and strong communities as God designed and desires.

Mission:
To deliver hope for this life and the life to come through compassionate medical care, quality health education, intensive malnutrition interventions, active community development, and Gospel focused outreach, all in the love and name of Jesus.

Values:
*Integrity: We demonstrate Christ’s integrity through our transparency. Dependence on God for all things, our own humanness, willingness to learn and adapt in order to develop relationship, trust, and mutual respect among all who serve and are served by Real Hope for Haiti. 2 Corinthians 8:21

*Service: Christ’s love is extended as we compassionately come alongside the Haitian people, individually, in families, and community organizations with respect to culture and ensuring dignity through community service, medical intervention, education, and economic development. 1 Peter 3:8

*God-Centered: We are strengthening relationships with individuals, families, our community, and Christ himself by living out the transforming all-consuming power of Christ in our lives as we answer the call to be his hands and feet to the people of Haiti. Colossians 3:17

*Collaboration/Community: We humbly seek to learn from one another and, as a team, work toward improving all situations in which we are involved. In an effort to continually grow strong, healthy families and communities we make sure that every voice is heard with respect, and all can be a part of the solution. Romans 15:5-6

Statement of Faith

  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16)
  • We believe God is one Spirit, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matt. 3:16)
  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. (John 1:1-14, Colossians 1:15-171 Corinthians 15:1-4)
  • We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, belief in Jesus Christ and regeneration or rebirth by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. (John 3:16-18, John 14:6, Acts 4:12, Ephesians 2:1-10, Titus 3:4-7)
  • We believe that because of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers, we are enabled to live a godly life. (John 14:171 Corinthians 6:19, Romans 6:15-23)
  • We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 12:12-26, Colossians 3:12-17)
  • We believe Christians have the responsibility to protect the vulnerable, fight for those held in oppression, walk beside the hurting, and point them to the One who heals, restores and redeems. (Psalm 82:3, Isaiah 1:17)
