Sending Supplies to RHFH: Let’s Do This!

Diapers, medicine, clothing….Oh, my!

It takes A LOT of supplies to keep things running here at RHFH.

A mini snap shot:

Tummies need formula and bottoms need diapers.

Expectant moms need vitamins and sickly patients need medicine.

Bleeding wounds need bandages and cholera victims need IV’s.

And the list goes on and on….and on….

RHFH needs supplies.

You can help with just a click of your mouse right there at your computer!

If you checked out the RHFH March newsletter, you probably already read this article.  If not, here’s your chance:

For those of you unable to gather supplies and get them to Indiana, we still need YOUR help!  We would love for you to get in on being a part of this huge blessing.  These medical supplies, medications, baby care items, and food will be used over the next 6 months to bring health, hope and life to thousands of Haitians.  International shipping and customs prices usually run $4 per pound and sometimes higher.  Ouch!  This can really add up and is a burden for most people.  It makes more sense to use the semi container with freight (boat) shipping.  It saves money that can be directly used for other needs for those we serve.  Everyone likes to save money, right?  Have we got a deal for you!

You can ship a whole banana box full of items from Indiana to Haiti for only $10!  You couldn’t even ship that much from one state to another in the US.  When we use bulk shipping in a container and split the cost up between many of us, it’s not that much and it will be a huge help to the Haitian people.  We can fit 40 pallets on a 40 foot container.  Each pallet can hold 30 boxes so there will be 1200 boxes that will go on this container.  How many boxes will you sponsor?  Send a check to RHFH, PO Box 23, Elwood, IN  46036.  Make sure to write “shipping” in the memo.  You can also use the PayPal button the right-hand side of our website.

It’s no easy task, and it requires a great deal of teamwork.  Supplies have to be collected, loaded, and shipped.

But together, with Jesus in the lead, we can get this done!

We need YOUR help.

Would you be willing to pay for a box to be shipped for $10?  Maybe  2 or 3?  Or more??

The goal we must reach:

1200 boxes

No task is too big for our Father!

We’ve come up with a fun way to keep you updated on the progress of funds RHFH receives for this goal.

For every 100 boxes we can ship, our little yellow truck will drive on towards its goal.

Each time we reach another 100-box victory, a different kid from the RC will cheer us all on.

So here we go!  We’re kicking it off with Wensky.  He’s giving you all a big thumbs-up as you begin moving us box-by-box towards that important goal.

Thank you.  Thank you.  Thank you.

Let’s do this!

the ladies of our church (First Baptist Church of Columbus,IN) Have made some “pillow case” dresses and are wondering if you would like to have them? If so can you tell me how we can go about sending them to you? We have approximately 100 dresses sizes small, medium & large, and also new underwear.
