Artist for Hope-supplies needed

Artist for Hope is doing great things for RHFH.  This past week we had several different classes to teach ladies different skills.  There was a knitting class.

They are currently learning this new skill.

Another group of ladies learned how to make simple earrings.  They had lots of fun learning and working  with Roberta.

We are super, super, super excited about being able to help these ladies.  They will be making a living by learning a new skill. That is great.  So what can you do to help?  You can buy items from Artist for Hope to support these ladies.  You can begin to collect supplies to ship on the next semi-container.  We are looking for beads to make earrings.  Here are a few examples below.  Be creative.  Where are my bargain hunters?  Find some good sales to help some ladies here in Cazale.  Make sure the beads have holes in them to be able to make the earrings.  Roberta will be teaching more classes in the future for necklace etc.  So the beads are a on going need.  Little tiny rocks will work will to as long as they have holes in them.

Don’t forget to begin collecting grocery bags for the bracelets.  We are looking for thin and interesting colors.  I have only had two people write about collecting these for us.  Any other that are interested? Please let me know at licia@realhopeforhaiti.org.

Simply by saving your grocery bags you will be helping a mother.  You will be giving her a start at her new business.  You will be putting food on her table.  You will be helping her and her family.  It is so simple.  Will you join us and help to find some supplies for these simple projects.
