These two little cuties were very sick last week.  We did not know whether they would live or not. But by the grace of God they are both alive and well today.  We are so thankful that their parents trusted us enough to bring them here for extended care at RHFH. 

 So many of the children in our care are helped through medications that are given to them to help them heal.

NEED #1 funds for medications

When you have around 80 -90 children at one time that you are caring for you go through a lot of medications.  Lots.  We ship a semi-container each year and have many meds that come in from the states on that shipment.  We also have several doctors and individuals that carry in meds from time to time for us.  We use these medications through the year along with those we purchase. 

But there are many medications that are cheaper to purchase here that we use each month for the children. 

We have 2 main places that we purchase meds from in Port-au-Prince.  If we cannot find the medications there we begin searching at different pharmacies around Port.  Most of the time we are able to locate the needed meds here in Haiti.

We use these medications along with the F-75 therapeutic milk, medika mamba, food, love, and lots of prayer to help these kids heal.  This month we are very low on medications.  I have made out a large purchase list month.   The total cost needed for medication is $1,057.86.  If you would like to help with this need you can use the paypal button in the upper right hand corner of the blog or send funds to our home office, Real Hope for Haiti,P.O.  NEED #2 clothing

We are running low on clothing for the children in the Rescue Center.  Our friend Debbie W. is able to get much needed supplies to us from MN through groups coming down through Healing Haiti.  We are so thankful to them for helping with this need.  We are hoping that some of you might be able to locating some clothing for us and ship them to Debbie (or hand deliver) in MN.

Here are our current needs:

shorts (prefer elastic waist) size newborn to size 7/8 (mostly need size 12 month to 3T)

shirts-size new born to size 7/8 (mostly need size 12 months to 3T)

shoes/sandles-any kids sizes
