You can read the first post about Telismane and her family here. Her husband was killed in a flood that we had here in Cazale in 2008. Reader from the blog came together to help this family with food, housing, toys and clothing.
Several people also gave towards starting a small business for her and her family. World Wide Village doubled her funds the next year to increase what she was able to buy and sell. She is a great business lady and manages her funds well. She is able to totally support herself without the help of others now. That is a big accomplishment for her.

This is a current picture of the family. We just love them and are so happy that things have worked out for them. She has her hands full with 5 boys! The other girl standing beside her in the blue/white shirt is her sister that is now living with them.
