This is Patelma last week (below). He was one of our Cholera patients that was near death when he came in. I just love him. A few years ago Lori and I were walking on some back paths in the mountains. We found Patelma passed out laying in the hot sun. Lori grabbed his knees and I grabbed his shoulder and we carried him to a shade tree. Once he came to we gave him juice and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Last year he passed out drunk in front of our gate. He was choking on his own vomit and we were able to help him again. We were so sad last week when a someone is the village found him very sick and near death. We were not sure that he would make it, but again God saved him.
This is Patelma this week coming to receive his food box. We were so happy that he was able to pick it up himself.
James 2:12-13
Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom, because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment.
