The Betor family and papa Zach will be returning to the US the last week of March. We will be packing boxes, sorting and getting things ready for a semi trailer to be shipped in the fall. We will be shipping equipment that has been purchased to begin working on the land that RHFH has purchased. We are very excited about this new step in moving forward with our building project. Due to this expense and getting these items ready we will wait until the fall to ship another container, but will continue to collect and pack supplies during the month of April.
Each Saturday at the storage units in Anderson we welcome people to stop by with donations or come and help us sort and pack up supplies. If you are interested you can call Zach at 317-517-2792 after the 29th of this month for more information or email me at licia@realhopeforhaiti.org about donating supplies or getting dates to help with packing.
We wanted to share a needs list as well for the supplies we are wanting to collect for the semi container

We have been working hard this past year. Very hard. We are tired in many ways. We want to take part of the time home to get ourselves in better shape mentally, spiritually, and physically. We have not slowed down for …um…many years. We are planning to spend time with friends and family, get some doctors appointments in and have a little fun! Papa Zach will be staying in Noblesville and the Betor family will be in Anderson. We want to thank Greenbrair Community Church (our home church) and Sandy K. for all there help in securing a place for our family to stay. It is way beyond what we expected. We are blessed and humbled that we will have a place to be together as a family. We also have a family we have never met in person that is going to loan us their van. Yippe! Enoch and I have only been on 1 date together in the 16 years we have known each other. That is sad 🙁 We have not done a lot together as a family so we are super excited to just “be” together and have some fun. It will be our first time as a family to visit the USA together, and it will be Ameyah and Enoch’s first trip ever. We are pumped, excited, wound up, energized, thrilled to take this trip. (yes I just used a thesaurus)
We have already filled April 4th (morning and evening) and April 10th (morning) for speaking. If you would like to have us speak at your church, small group, or meet with us, please either email me licia@realhopeforhaiti.orgor call Zach (cell # listed above) after the 29th of March. We would will be in the central Indiana area but would be willing to travel by vehcile to other locations. We love each of you and appreciate you! Please pray for us during the coming weeks. Please keep Lori and Anna (for 10 days) in your prayers as they stay in Haiti to continue to the work.

March 22, 2011 at 8:34 pmWhat an exciting time for you guys as you anticipate a fun trip to the US!! I hope you can line up some babysitters so you can have lots of dates (I wish I lived closer…I’d love to babysit your beautiful crew)!
As always it’s great to know what you need so I can pray that the specific needs will be met and help meet them as the Lord provides.
You guys deserve a time of refreshing and I pray that your time in the US will be just that!

March 22, 2011 at 8:48 pmYou cannot imagine how hard I laughed when I started reading all the adjectives you were using to describe your upcoming trip–then you admitted to your thesaurus usage. SO great. Thanks for making me laugh today.
Love you all!

I AM SO EXCITED FOR YOUR FAMILY!
…and for you guys allowing me to help 🙂
God is SO ridiculously amazing.
LOVE YOU! (like a lot).
PS: I totally love the thesaurus usage. Rocking the adjectives. Majorly “impressive” 😉

March 27, 2011 at 10:54 pmYAY YAY YAY and Praise God that you all are getting to rest a little and (hopefully) go on a date, lol 🙂 Really, I am thankful that the Lord has provided this little Sabbath of sorts for you and your family. I’ll be calling Papa Zach in a few days – we have a few things to bring to Anderson in addition to our blankies (which we made a year ago and missed the container deadline!), but hopefully we can collect a few more before heading over. Praying for your safe travels and for a truly blessed rest together as a family.

March 27, 2011 at 11:01 pmQuick question – one of my friends has some used baby bottles that are still in good condition and she wondered if those would be okay for the RC (?). I told her I didn’t know if you all accepted used ones and that I would ask. Thanks!
