Indianapolis Zoo!

Our good friends/family in Anderson took us to the zoo today.  There were 18 of us all together.  It was a fabulous day!  Whether you agree or not, our kids are taught not to trust police in Haiti.  Sorry, maybe if you live there you would understand to some degree.  So while we are here this trip we are making an effort to meet some good police and let our kids know that there are police that are there to help them.  We met one today at the zoo.

It was a little cold this morning when we started out but got better as the day went on.

Enoch is very scared on snakes.  He was very nervous when we went into a room full of them.

Baby girl is feeling better and getting used to life here.  She did well today, but is still staying up past midnight each night.

We also went to a Dolphin show that was very fun and interesting to Enoch.

Tomorrow Casey Ray (my brother) and Jess will be arriving in Indiana for the RHFH board meeting.  We plan to visit family the next few day and go to the grave yard where my mom is buried so Enoch can see that as he was not able to attend her funeral.

We are SO loving all the pictures and seeing Enoch experience Indiana for the first time. Your kids are adorable as ever! Ameyah looks older!!!

The Refugee families we work with from Burma struggle a lot with trusting Police when they arrive in Omaha. One of men said to me “it’s so crazy! In Burma and Thailand we had to run from Police because they would hurt us. Here they smile and help push your car out of the snow for you.” 🙂
