THANK YOU from the Cholera house!

Old cholera post here, here and here

Where we asked you to donate here and here

Several weeks ago RHFH asked you to donate to the needs of the cholera house.  Dr. Jen was busy ordering and figuring out how to get much needs meds and supplies to us that we cannot purchase here in Haiti.  She found people to hand carry the meds in and then we send papa Zach to pick them up in Port.  WOW!  Lori and I unpacked a large load of items this week.  We were so excited to have a good stock of meds on hand for the cholera house. Jen had packed and marked all the meds and we began unloading and stocking the shelves.  These two bottom shelves were getting low in supplies.  Now they are full and ready for the many patients that are still coming to the cholera house. (Last night we were at 73 patients)

There was several bags full of IV meds that we use daily at the cholera house. These will be stored in large plastic bins so the friendly rats will not eat them 🙂

We thank each of you that gave to this special need for the cholera house.  Many lives are being touched.  Special thanks to Dr. Jen and those that hand carried in these bags of meds for RHFH.

Job 5:9-11

9 He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed,
   miracles that cannot be counted.
10 He provides rain for the earth;
   he sends water on the countryside.
11 The lowly he sets on high,
   and those who mourn are lifted to safety.
