- Two new admits at the RC today. One child went home that is healed and healthy. That makes our total number 80 kids.
- 2 kids died at the cholera house today. One this morning and one just a few minutes ago. The one this evening was one of our staff members children. She currently has 6 other family members that are at the cholera house. It was very difficult for the family to come and see their dead daughter. Screaming, wailing, yelling and crying out for the child to come back to them. The mom passed out and we transport her and the other family members home this evening.

- a little baby whose skin comes off where you touch it at the clinic today
- 15 month old weighing 11 pounds
- 8 pallets of garden seeds donated to give out to the community
- We are getting some much needed supplies in from an organization tomorrow-lots of IV fluids-YES!
- cholera training continues with the community workers

July 26, 2011 at 9:14 pmThe baby whose skin comes off might have a condition called EB, Epidermolysis bullosa. I have a friend who has it, as do several of her children. Wrapping of the limbs and infection prevention is essential. Praying for you and the Rescue Center always!
