FABIENNE

She is 2 years old and weighed 26 pounds in this picture below.  She since has lost 6 pounds of “water weight” from the kwashiorkor.  She has 8 living siblings and 1 that has died.  Her mom walked about 5 hours to bring her to the clinic.  (She is currently on the medika mamba program)  Caroline post about her here here, and here.

A thank you gift from the families garden.

LENITA

She is 15 months old and weighs 11 1/2 pounds.  Lenita has 2 living siblings and 2 that have died.  It took her mom 6 hours one way to walk here from their home. (She is currently on the medika mamba program)

MIRLENE

She was in the RC from June 2010-April 2011.  She left weighing 19 pounds and returned last week weighing 15, and has a mild case of kwashiorkor.  Her papa walked 5 hours one way to get to the clinic. (She is currently on the medika mamba program)
