These health care workers and others (12 total) provide Puride to their villages.  This simple, but effective product is made by the machines pictured below.  They are powered by a battery that is charged by a solar panel.  Salt water is run through the machine to produce the Puride.  A couple of capfuls of Puride in a bucket is all it takes to make the water bacteria free.  This helps to provide clean water for those in rural mountain areas.  Thanks to Acts2HelpOthers for these machines and helping us fight cholera in the surrounding communities.  Below the photo are the comments and thanks that the cholera health worker sent to this organization for the machines.

People in the community are happy for the good work that is going on in Fond Blanc.  They are happy for the machine that makes Puride so that we can treat our water to drink and fight against the cholera sickness.  This makes many people happy and they thank me that is making it and measuring it out to them and they thank the people that sent it to us.  We are fighting against cholera.  We thank this organization very, very much.  I thank you on behalf of the whole community.

Many people appreciate the work that I’m doing like giving out Puride that I make with the machine that you gave me.  The only problem that I’m having is that I can’t find the quantity of salt that I need to work every day.  People in my village come to me for information and for cholera treatment.  I have really tried to educate people by talking about cholera prevention door to door and during announcements at churches in my area each Sunday.  I congratulate this project for the large way in which we use it.  It permits people in the area to benefit with the machine that produces Puride without difficulties.  I hope the organization will continue to think with us so that we can help society and to help us live cleaner.  Thank you!

I receive people well.  I like the Puride.  Every time that their Puride is finished, I give them more.  I have used it to spray 13 houses that have people that had cholera.  The people that get sick with cholera ask me to come and spray their homes.  This is a very important work for the community.
