As the end of the year comes to a close, we reflect on the many activities here at Real Hope For Haiti and we know that none would be possible without God’s Grace and the loving support that you give to us. Just in case you missed it, we wanted to share a recent letter that was sent out to those on our mailing list.

Greetings!
As a loyal supporter, your compassionate and generous contributions have healed many Haitians this year! Our patients know it is only because of your kindness and the Grace of God they receive needed health care. From the depths of the grateful hearts of our patients, staff and the Zachary family, we humbly say a huge THANK YOU!
Your 2011 contributions have helped 35,377 ill patients receive the treatment they needed–even life saving! Your open-handed and kind-hearted giving helped:
* to provide 3977 wound dressings and 136 accident victims were sutured
* 184 recovered from tuberculosis
* Pre and postnatal care for 515 newborn babies to grow up healthy
* To provide 4689 patients with lifesaving treatment from the deadly cholera bacteria
* 249 children recover from severe malnutrition and Medika Mamba was administered to 107 critically ill children.
Thanks to you, we were able to save Madeline, a precious 6 year old girl who recently lost her mother. Madeline’s father, Andre, tried desperately to save his daughter, but she was continuing to slip away from him. Her weight had plummeted to 25 pounds and her skeleton body began to swell. Her skin was peeling off and she suffered relentlessly from high fevers. Knowing that Madeline was on the edge of death, Andre carried her eight hours to our clinic. Because of your unselfish and faithful support, we were able to look Andre in the eyes, take his dying daughter in our arms, and promise we would do everything possible to save her. After 11 months, Madeline recently returned to the loving arms and grateful heart of Andre.

Your generous giving has created close, convenient, and consistent health care for over 114,000 children, women, and men. Each of these Haitians is depending on you and we simply cannot continue to meet their needs without you. Please help to make this possible with your contribution today.
A gift of $50, $100, $250, $500 or $1000 can make a huge impact.
* $50 will purchase eggs to ensure a high protein diet for the children for a week.
* $100 will perform total female health exams for 10 women.
* $250 will deliver a pallet of medical supplies from a U.S. warehouse to our clinic.
* $500 will build a latrine for 3-4 families to prevent the spread of cholera.
* $1000 will financially support the clinic for one week, treating around 900 patients.
