It is that time of year again! We are looking for a new teacher for the upcoming school year 2012-2013. We have been super blessed these past 4 years with wonderful teachers for the boys. They have all been just what the boys needed for a that year. God has been so good to us. This year we will have a new addition to the school room. The Garrett family will be moving to Haiti in June and their youngest daughter will be attending school with the boys.
So here are the students
Carmelo~15 years old~ He is very quiet at first but loves to joke around once you get to know him. He loves be the oldest brother. He has been working hard this year in his school work. His favorite subject this year was history and his least favorite was math. He will be in the 9th grade.
Henley~9 years old~ Henley is one of the most loving boys you will ever meet. He is a great help to his siblings and has such a giving heart. His favorite subject in school this year was spelling. He will be in the 5th grade.
Brianna~ is 11 years old and will be beginning 5th grade in the fall. She’s a smart little girl who loves art and is extremely creative. Brianna enjoys reading and math, but prefers recess! She can be very shy in new surroundings, but once comfortable, her colorful personality shines through.
Trey~8 years old. Trey is our baby boy and he knows it. 🙂 He is all boy and loves to play with his brothers and friends. He said he cannot pick one favorite subject so his 2 favorites are language Arts and Spelling. We would prefer someone for the whole school year. Aug 2012 -May 2012. Getting a teacher for my children was a very hard decision that I made several years ago. It is hard to have someone come and live with you full time and trust them to teach your kids. But I trusted that God would fill this need and He has every single year. We work long hours and have hard days here at RHFH. Having someone come and teach the kids takes a HUGE load off of us and allows us more time minister to those that we love so dearly. We would want the teachers main focus to be in teaching the children. There will be time around the edges to help out with other task and take care of kids and get involved in the areas that RHFH work in. If you or someone you know might be interested in filling this need, please let me know. You can email me at licia@realhopeforhaiti.org for more info and application forms. I am looking forward to seeing who God has in store for us for 2012-2013. Could it be you?
