It has been a few months since we last did a Medika Mamba update.  The program has been going strong since  May of 2009.  We have been administering the medika mamba each and every day since then. 

Here are our current stats

Children currently on the program 10

Children that have graduated 257

Children that have died 67

Children that were removed before treatment was completed 5

 This gives us a grand total of 339 that have been admitted to the program.

Every night the mamba bowls get refilled for the coming day.  Each child get a certain amount of mamba per day by their current weight.  So for example below, Bettie, will have to eat 10 tablespoons of the mamba for her days treatment.

 Someone on a teams several years ago got us this nifty measuring  device.  It works great for us.

We continue to count it and honor to be here and be able to help, hold, love and serve these children. World Wide Village continue to supply us each month with the cases of mamba that we use.  Due to Tara L and her fundraising efforts we do not have to worry about the funds for this project.  We love and are thankful that this product is made right here in Haiti by her people and is saving lives in our little village of Cazale.
