When we first started construction, the ground looked like this.
After much work, it looks like this today.
Wow! What a change! It couldn’t have been done without hundreds of supporters donating time, equipment, materials, and funds. THANK YOU!
As we come to the end of construction of phase one, we wanted to update you on the progress. This is inside one of the wards. The metal supports are for the water tower.
Here is the water tower. It will have a plastic tank for water storage.
Here are the showers
and the bathrooms.
The nurse’s stations will have lots of storage.
These are the doors going into the patient ward.
This is the ORS room and it is at one end of the long admissions building.
There has been much progress since the beginning of the matching fund challenge. The roofs are on. The doors have been hung. The electricity is ready to go. The plumbing and fixtures have been installed. We are excited that we are so close to moving in.
We are also excited to be so close to this matching challenge goal. Only $1905 to go. A HUGE THANKS to EVERYONE who has given towards this challenge and the family that put the challenge out there for us all!! Thanks for everyone’s incredible generosity.
Would you consider donating to the cholera construction?

February 25, 2013 at 8:16 pmI am so excited to see this! I can’t wait to come back in person. I would love to do a mural on one of the walls – maybe a Bible story picture but with a Haitian Jesus. What do you think?
