Here is a poem I read recently that resonated with me about entering into 2015:
Another year I enter
Its history unknown;
Oh, how my feet would tremble
To tread its paths alone!
But I have heard a whisper,
I know I shall be blest;
“My presence shall go with thee,
And I will give thee rest.”
What will the New Year bring me?
I may not, must not know;
Will it be love and rapture,
Or loneliness and woe?
Hush! Hush! I hear His whisper;
I surely shall be blest;
“My presence shall go with thee,
And I will give thee rest.”

All of us here at Real Hope for Haiti are grateful for your faithfulness in sharing your kind words, resources, and prayers with us in 2014, being using by God to sustain what He is doing here in rural Haiti. We do not know exactly what 2015 holds, but are comforted knowing we shall be praying for one another and confident that God will be with you and with me each step of the way, rocky or smooth as it might be.
Happy New Year!
