More New Admits

Christian

He is 6 years old and weighed 34 pounds when admitted. He was started on our outpatient mamba program in June of last year (2015) but stopped following mid August. He then returned June of this year but was continuing to lose weight so we admitted into our inpatient care. Both of his parents are farmers and grow corn and beans. He has 5 other siblings and live in a 3 room house made of clay and tin. They do not have running water for a toilet or have an outhouse. It’s takes them 3 hours to get water. The day he arrived he had some fried street food and the day before he had rice and mamba. It took them 5 hours to travel to the clinic by foot. He continues on our Medika Mamba program.
