One of our employees has become one of our patients and she needs help.
She has been working full time for RHFH since March 2011. Earlier this year, she wasn’t feeling too well and had a complete check-up that revealed an abnormal PAP test. Further studies and biopsy showed that she has cervical cancer. The oncologist has recommended a hysterectomy with additional biopsies and studies of what is removed. She could require additional chemo depending on those tests or they could determine that the surgery is sufficient to remove the cancerous cells.
With the protests and roadblocks throughout the country, it has been difficult for her to get required testing and appointments done, but she is to the point where they are ready to operate. Her surgery will be $615.00 US.
Would you be willing to help this patient and employee get the operation and care that she needs to treat cancer?
