T. was admitted into our inpatient care facility in Sept of 2009. He was malnourished and suffering from kwashiorkor. He stayed with us through the earthquake and returned home with is mom when he was healthy and reached his goal weight. He has been back to the clinic a few times over the year for small illnesses like a cold and cough. He has maintained a good healthy weight since returning home in April of 2010. This past month he wanted to come visit as it has been 10 years since the earthquake and since he returned home. He wanted to let us know that he is doing well and that he has been attending school each year in his village. His mom is very proud of him and glad that he recovered and lived.
