Bible Study update

Chaplains Maturin, Sylio, and Espeson are each currently holding a weekly Bible Study class. They all started in January and have been going strong for several weeks now.

Mathurin is teaching out of a book called “The Good News Concerning Jesus” that has 16 people in the class that range in age from 15-18 years old. This class will last for 13 weeks and is held on Friday afternoons.

Sylio has a class about “Abraham” for kids that are 8-12 years old and there are 10 boys and girls that attend. This group will meet on Thursday afternoons for 12 weeks.

Espeson is has a group of 16 children that are 8-12 years old and they are learning from the book called “The Life of Christ.” Every Monday afternoon, they will meet for 9 weeks.

Each class will have a small party / graduation at the end to celebrate their success in learning. They will each invite one person to come and listen to verses, summaries, poems, songs, and other things that the students will prepare to show what they have learned during the class.

We appreciate each of our chaplains and those participating in these classes and their hunger to learn more about our Christian walk. Our thanks and gratitude also goes to LIFE Literature for providing these Kreyol books. A big THANK YOU to all our donors for helping to provide the space, transport to get the books, pay for staff, and other items used in during these lessons. Please pray that ears and heart will we open, that each participant’s heart would be touched, and that these classes bear fruit that will remain in the lives of these children. To God be ALL the Glory!
