Tuesday is the bigger open market day here in Cazale. Just this past year they have also added Friday for a market day, but it remains a very small amount of people on that day. On market day vendors come from different villages to sell their good to others. It is also a day of seeing old friends and family. Besides produce you can buy animals (goats, pigs, chickens, cows, donkeys and horses), sewing material, hair ribbons, hygiene products, charcoal, dishes and other household items. People travel to the market on foot, by animal, taxi or motorcycle. Many people set up four sticks and tie a sheet to it for shade. If they do not have a table they put the items for sale of the ground, on a tarp, other piece of plastic or a sheet.
