Greeting in the wonderful name which is above every name—Jesus. There is victory, healing and provision in His name. Because He lives we have joy and hope. Amen
The sun is hot here today. The earth is parched from the lack of rain. The wind is up, and dust is being driven in every direction (reminds me of fog in Indiana). This week there have been fires all around us-big and bigger driven by winds that suddenly come from nowhere. Many are started by people who believe they can burn evil spirits out of the land. Last night a whole mountain behind Titanyen was ablaze in no time it swept down and caught fields on fire. The sky was bright with the glow of orange flames which burn throughout the night just a short distance from us. This past Wednesday we fought a small fire on our own land. It took 30 of us with a bucket brigade and wet sugar sacks about an hour to get it under control. God was with us and no one or building was harmed. Praise God.
God is good. As Zach has been there with you fellowshipping, resting, and taking care of business. God is here with us. Some days are full of problems, enemy attacks, disappointments, heartache, people with needs impossible to meet. Some days are worse than others. God ministers to us through it all. It may be a blessing, a needed lesson, or a spiritual correction but He is there. He is our source. He is for us-no one or no thing can be against us.
Brothers and sisters we are glad he uses people to accomplish His work here on earth and spread His love. You are one of those people. We want to express to you our gratitude for your continued prayers and financial gifts to this ministry. This week we received records of COF giving’s for January (the regular offering plus the love offering for Zach’s trip home). We can’t put thanks into words. Everytime I think of it or I try to write this, tears well up in my eyes as well as my heart. It is not homesickness-were past that. It is humbling to see love put to action as you all have done for us.
When times get tough it is so good to know we have such a supportive church family. We know we are not alone. We know you are with us in the good times and the bad. You are always a blessing and encouragement.
Zacha really needed to return to Indiana for a short season and you made it possible. I could tell by talking to him on the phone he was getting rested and was relaxed. I know that fellowship with you all was rich for him. I’m sure he also treasures the time spent with his mother and family. As he has been renewed and refreshed, he returns with a clear vision for God will and a strong vengeance against the devil. Hallelujah! Thank you for your bountiful gift! 2 Corinthians 9: 6-15
