The toy room is getting a renovation and we need your help! Fresh paint has brightened up the room and you have the opportunity to brighten a child’s heart…..many children, that is. There are usually 30-45 children in the rescue center (an inpatient care facility for severe malnutrition). Children around the world love to play and these kids are no different. When first admitted, they are fighting for their lives and often unable to sit or move much. They often lay still and sleep most of the time as their bodies are recovering. These toys will be shipped to Agape Flights in Venice, FL. Agape Flights bring packages and mail to Haiti once a week. The boxes pass through the Haitian customs system and are then taken to the Agape mail center in Port-au-Prince. Casey goes to pick up the packages and brings them to Cazale. It is a team effort to get supplies to Haiti, but it will be worth it to know the children have fun toys during their recovery.
