Throw back Thursday~Alternative Fuel with card board

In 2005 the Community Development group in Cazale, called GVADK ,had a project to use old cardboard and paper to made alternative bricks to cook with in the village. RHFH used these bricks for several years to cook all the food for the children in the Rescue Center. Here is a video below to give a better explanation of how they are made.

This is the machine we used to hand press them in circles

The bricks were then set out to dry. Once dry they were bagged up and sold in the local market.

Many people used them for personal use in their daily cooking.
