Since 2019, I have been working at a RHFH staff member’s house. I’m a mother of three boys and live in a rented home with my cousin and one of my sons. I come from a large family of nine brothers and two sisters. I find purpose in my work and feel valued. In the past, I tired to purchase bulk items and resells them in front of my home, but it wasn’t very profitable. So I am thankful for this job.
This is how I came to find a job at RHFH. My son become ill, I was devastated to learn that he was diabetic. I was certain that he would not survive. However, when we arrived at the clinic, the staff took him in and provided the care he needed. After several weeks, he recovered and I was overjoyed. Even though I wasn’t from Cazale, I knew that in order to keep my son healthy, we needed to stay in the area for his insulin treatment and close monitoring. The clinic was kind enough to help us find a place to live and provided us with basic necessities. As my son’s health improved, they even offered me a job so that I could support my family. Thanks to the grace of God, my son is still with us today and I am able to provide for my family.
My work is incredibly important to me because it enables me to care for my family. By providing general cleaning services and occasional cooking and laundry, I am able to pay for my children’s education, clothing, food, and other necessities. Additionally, I am able to give back to those in need in my community. I enjoy living in the Cazale area.. There is access to treated drinking water and the river that runs through the village, which is great for washing our clothes. I am a Christian, I attend the Adventist church and ask that you keep me and my family in your prayers for good health.
