Yolette lived a happy life with her daughter and two grandchildren. She owned a store that helped her provide for her family. Everything changed when bandits invaded her neighborhood. Yolette and her family had to flee and became refugees in Cazale, a place they had never been before. A local leader opened the Cazale National School to shelter refugees, and Yolette and her children stayed there.
Having lost everything, Yolette struggled. She couldn’t rent a house or buy food. The people of Cazale welcomed her and tried to help, but Yolette was not used to depending on others. Living in a small, leaky room at the school was hard. When it rained, water came in, forcing her to sit in the corner until it stopped. Insects often got into the room, and the difficult conditions left her crying and praying for help.
God answered Yolette’s prayers. With help from RHFH, she was able to rent a house and start a small business selling used clothes, just like she did before. Moving into the new house was a joyful moment for her family. Now, she has a safe, dry place to live and can work to provide for her children.
Yolette feels grateful and happy. She thanks God for sending RHFH to help her when she had no hope. She prays that God will bless everyone who made it possible to change her life for the better.
