In our Rescue Center, every child we care for is unique, and so is their medical journey. For many of these children, monitoring their vital signs is not just a routine task—it’s a critical part of their recovery and survival.
Vital signs provide essential information about a child’s overall health, helping us detect early warning signs of complications. We regularly check temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, and oxygen levels, ensuring we catch any changes that might indicate distress. For children who are severely ill, these checks happen every 3 to 6 hours, allowing our team to respond quickly to their needs.

The machines we use to monitor these vital signs are indispensable. They guide our medical decisions, helping us adjust treatments and interventions in real-time. A child struggling with severe malnutrition, infections, or respiratory distress may have rapidly changing vital signs, making frequent monitoring essential for survival.
Beyond numbers on a screen, these readings tell us stories—stories of struggle, resilience, and, most importantly, hope. A child whose oxygen levels stabilize, whose fever comes down, or whose heartbeat strengthens is a child on the road to recovery.

Your support makes this possible. Whether through donations, prayers, or spreading awareness, you help ensure that we have the equipment and staff needed to provide this essential care. Every beep of a monitor is a step toward healing, and every saved life is a testament to the love and care that surrounds these precious children.
