My name is Jacqueline, and I am a mother of six children. My mother has passed away, but my father is still alive. I have one sister and two brothers. I live in Cazale, where I was born and raised. It’s a place I truly love—peaceful and filled with good people who know and support one another. I have two homes—both are two-room houses. One is made of rocks and cement, and the other is built with cinder blocks and cement. Both have tin roofs. Four of my children are still living at home with me, and we manage with what we have.
I’ve been caring for Izabella as her foster mom, and I truly enjoy it. I cook for her, care for her, and make sure she’s doing well in school. Every year, she’s at the top of her class. She’s very smart, polite, and responsible. She likes to help me in the kitchen and often reads to me.
I also run a small business selling rice, oil, flour, and sugar. After looking after Izabella and managing my business, I wash clothes for my children and take time to iron them—I enjoy keeping things neat and in order. It brings me joy to see my children clean and dressed well.
Being a foster mom has been a blessing. It allows me to care for my own family, keep food in the house, and buy the things we need. Sometimes, when someone else is in need, I can even help them with a little money. That means a lot to me.
I’m thankful that the clinic is here in Cazale—it helps so many people who are sick or hurting. I’m asking for your prayers, that God would continue to bless us with good health. Thank you for supporting families like mine. Your support truly makes a difference in our daily lives.
