My Journey of Faith
From 2021 to 2025, I had the privilege of studying theology, and this season became one of the most important chapters of my life. Looking back, I can see how much this journey shaped me—not only academically, but also spiritually and personally.
When I first began my studies, the relationships between students were simple. We greeted each other, but we did not yet truly know one another. Over time, everything changed. Through group projects, presentations, and working together, we began to build friendships. Those simple greetings became strong relationships.
By the second year, we had become a true community. We learned to support one another through every challenge. Stronger students helped those who struggled, not only with schoolwork but also emotionally, spiritually, socially, and financially. We became more than classmates—we became a family.
Our professors played an important role in our lives. They were not only teachers, but also mentors and guides. They encouraged us, corrected us, and helped us grow into the people we were called to become. The school leadership worked hard to provide an education that developed both our knowledge and our character, preparing us to serve God and our communities.
These years were not without difficulties. Haiti faced many challenges, including insecurity, economic struggles, and political problems. At times, some students could not return home for weeks or months because of the situation in the country. These experiences tested us, but they also strengthened our faith and determination.
Through everything, God carried us.
Today, I can say with confidence that I am a different person because of this journey. My studies have helped form me into someone who wants to serve others and make a difference in my community.
These four years were filled with challenges, friendships, lessons, and growth. They were years of dreams, dedication, and transformation. Above all, they prepared me for a life of service and commitment.
