
Lorell (Lori) Moise, Board President
Lori, the director of the clinic, uses her skills as an RN to treat as many patients as she can. She enjoys wound care, emergency care and treating childhood malnutrition and infections. In the fall of 2010, the cholera epidemic spread into Cazale, Haiti and the surrounding communities. In addition to being director of the medical clinic, Lori opened and ran the Cholera Treatment Center (CTC) and treated and educated over 13,000 people from November 2010 to November 2020. Lori helps the RHFH development committee and is co-founder of GVADK, the local community development group in Cazale. Lori is married to Charles and they live in Cazale with their 3 dogs and cat.
Debra (Debbie) Woodward, Board Vice-President
In November 2009, Debbie made her first trip to Real Hope For Haiti. There she experienced the strength and resilience of the Haitian people and the Christ-centered hope that RHFH offers in caring for the people of Cazale and surrounding communities. Two months after returning home, the great earthquake of 2010 occurred. Poised to accept supplies in family- owned warehouse, Debbie began collecting, sorting and packing containers of medical, hygiene, and other necessary items to ship to RHFH. She continued to make another 7 trips to Haiti throughout the early stages of the cholera epidemic.
Debbie has a Bachelors of Business Administration degree and over 30 years of management experience in both non-profit and for-profit organizations. She is passionate about partnering with people and seeing them use their God given talents to reach their potential and elevate the broader community they are part of. Debbie and her husband Paul live in Plymouth, Minnesota and she has one adult son.
Sarah Wright
Sarah first learned about Real Hope For Haiti when she was invited to go on a mission trip with a church group in 2010. Haiti, the people of Cazale, and everyone at Real Hope For Haiti stole her heart. That trip awakened a passion. She returned to Haiti many times, developed many relationships and seeks to serve and support RHFH in any way possible. Sarah works as an ER Unit Secretary. Sarah, her husband Andy and their children live in Logansport, Indiana.
Elicia (Licia) Betor, Treasurer
Licia is the director of the Rescue Center which provides 24/7/365 care for sick and acutely malnourished children. She has been living in Haiti full-time since 1995, but moved to Indiana in 2023 due to Haiti’s insecurity. Licia manages the food box program, the infant formula program, the Rescue Center sponsorship program and the school sponsorship program. She currently serves as the chair of the finance committee and is the Treasurer for RHFH. Licia lives with her husband Enoch and has 3 sons and 1 daughter.
Jeffery Stoner
Jeffery made a visit to Cazale in the Spring of 2018, walking away with a new appreciation for the people of Haiti and the mission of Real Hope for Haiti. He joined the Board of Directors in April of 2024.
Jeffery has a Bachelor’s Degree from Purdue University in Engineering, and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts. He has served on boards of churches, trade organizations, and other non-profit entities.
Jeffery and his wife Jill live in North Vernon, Indiana, with their two teenage daughters.

Casey Zachary, Executive Director
Casey has served as Executive Director of Real Hope For Haiti since 2016. Casey moved to Haiti in 1994 at the age of 14. He adjusted well and fell in love with those around him. He picked up the language quickly and assisted in many duties in the mission.
Casey returned to the United States and graduated from Oral Roberts University in 2001 and Corban School of Ministry in 2013. He married his lovely wife Briana in 2002. Casey and Briana live in Cazale with their three children and dog.
Dr. Kenneth (Ken) VanAntwerp
Dr. Ken was born and raised in Pennsylvania, received a Bachelor of Science degree from Juniata College and Medical Degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. He completed a Family Practice Residency and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. He settled in rural western Pennsylvania and recently retired after 40 years. He has served as Medical Staff President, Chairman of Primary Care Department, and Hospice Medical Director at local hospital.
Dr. Ken’s first visit to Haiti was in 1995 when he went after a request for assistance at a hospital in southern Haiti. Since then, he has returned multiple times with short term medical teams. It was during these visits he made a connection with Real Hope for Haiti. During visits to RHFH clinic and rescue center he was been impressed and inspired by their Christ centered compassion and selfless service.
Dr. Ken currently lives in western Pennsylvania with wife of 46 years. They have three grown children and 4 grandchildren. He is an elder in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church where he also serves on session and the mission committee.
Tamatha (Tammy) Schluender, Board Secretary
Tammy first discovered Real Hope for Haiti after the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. She was particularly interested in the malnutrition program, because it helped families stay together by giving parents an option besides relinquishing their children to an orphanage. Over the years Tammy has been an active donor and has coordinated assembly of birth kits for RHFH. She has visited the mission several times and enjoys helping out in the clinic office and helping children return to health through play.
Tammy has a bachelors of science degree in computer science. She currently works for a Minnesota energy company as a Sr. Systems Analyst. She Lives in Alexandria, Minnesota with her husband.
Kristen Vanderwell
Kristin Vanderwell first fell in love with the nation of Haiti at the age of 14 when she spent 3 weeks volunteering at the orphanage her brother and sister were adopted from. She first experienced the wonderful work of Real Hope for Haiti in 2007. She has been to Haiti over a dozen times to serve in various capacities, and the past 8 trips were spent volunteering with Real Hope for Haiti.
Kristin has a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. She has experience working as a pediatric intensive care unit nurse and currently works as both a pediatric nurse practitioner in a primary care clinic in West Michigan, and an adjunct professor of nursing at a local Christian University. Kristin is passionate about meeting health care needs to point people to the hope found in Christ, and using education to empower and strengthen underserved communities. She has found supporting the work of RHFH to be an excellent way to embrace both of these passions.
