Knit Together In Love – letter to thanks to supporters (around Fall 1995)
In Haiti, there is a phrase, “Pa mache deye. Pa mache devan. Jis mache bo kout m epitou vin zanmi m.” (Yes, we are learning the language more – our classes are helping!) Anyway, the phrase means, “Don’t walk behind. Don’t walk in front. Just walk beside me and become my friend.” Walking together – shoulder to shoulder. God put in our hearts to come to Haiti and spread His love and His glorious message of saving grace. We can’t do it alone. he has placed in your heart to be a help to us. By your faithful giving and prayers, you enable us to do the work God has called us to do. Evangelism, discipleship, clinics, feeding programs, clothing the naked, visiting the prison – you are a part of all we do in Jesus’ Name. We’re partners, having the same heart towards the lost and hurting.
We, as missionaries, pledge to you, to be accountable for the finances you entrust us with. It’s not our money, it’s God’s – to be used for His glory. We know to many, giving is a sacrifice of love & obedience and we don’t take it lightly. We live by faith and God meets our every need through people like you. We thanks God upon every remembrance of you. Besides helping to meet our needs on the field, we want you to know your giving is such an encouragement to us. As we face the fiery trials of life, knowing you stand with us, helps us to be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.
Bo kote, shoulder to shoulder, we will push back the gates of hell and make a difference in this world. Thanks for giving. WE LOVE YOU!
To God Be ALL The Glory,
The Zachary family
P.S. God loves you!
