These 7 kids below all used to be with me. They used to be a part of me. God sent them into my life for a time. I had the honor and privilege to able to love them and know them. They all have families now. They have left me here in Haiti. Much to fast they left. But God in His perfect plan only wanted them with me for a time. They are all doing well living in Mexico, Texas, Kansas and Michigan. I pray that someday God will give me the opportunity to see them again.
We love you Daphca for your cute little smile. God sent you to RHFH for a short time. He brought your sister all the way from Mexico to be the first teacher for my boys. She cared for you and loved you not knowing that soon she would be your big sister. We are so happy for you Daphca. We love you and miss you so much!
Two little cuttie pies from the mountains. We love you Faith and Hope! We miss you at the RC. You were both always in the middle of trouble, but ever so cute. We miss dressing you up and trying to get you to smile for a picture. We miss your runny noses. The nannies ask about you all the time. You are loved and missed.
Ronel. Oh how we love you! You came to us so sick. You were one of the best kids in the RC. Always loving and willing to help out with any task that was put before you. We had so many good times together. I miss you so so so much. The boys miss you as well. We are excited to see what the Lord has in store for your life. You have come so far already. Keep working hard in school. Carmelo and Deny sold the chickens/roosters last week. Wished you will here.
Rosena. You lived with me at my house. You will always have a special place in my heart. You have overcome so much. You are a strong lady with a tender heart. I miss you so much but am so happy for you. Thank you for always writing, calling and keeping in touch with me. I look forward to seeing you grow up to be a strong follower of Christ. You always made us laugh with your funny jokes.
Just thinking about you two makes me cry. I miss you so much it hurts. Forever and always I will love you both. You are both so dear to my heart. I watched each of you grow up. I went through so much with you. We laughed together, cried together, and played with so many toys together. You will both grow up to be strong people loving Jesus. I know the Lord has special plans for both of you. I will never, ever forget you. Ever.
It has been about a year since each of you left. It seems so long ago. I know each of you have changed and grown up so much. Tell you mommy and daddy to send me more pictures of you guys. 🙂 Keep being good and loving Jesus. With all my love—-Licia

February 8, 2011 at 5:36 pmI can’t believe the boys sold the rooster and chickens. I miss you and everybody too. Please tell everyone hello from me that was there. Ask Patrick and Deny if they are doing good in their new place. I miss them. I am doing very good in school. I make very good grades. I don’t even get into trouble. I know how to speak English very well but I still remember how to speak Kreyol.
Mom tried to make your recipe for Pumpkin Soup. She didn’t make it right. She did learn how to make rice and beans. (As I am typing this, I am laughing, so true, so true!–Debra)

March 28, 2011 at 9:57 pmDaphca just looked at the pictures above from this post. When she saw hers she said, “Daphca!!” When I continued down she said, “That’s from Haiti!”, when I got to the last one she said, “That’s loving!” I think she is at the first stages of seeing a little tiny bit of her story! I have never heard her say Haiti before unless she was repeating my words. Fun. Thank you for being such a huge and critical part of her story.
