Kids in the Rescue Center

E. was in our inpatient care facility for severe malnutrition. She was on the medika mamba program for 4 weeks and recovered well. Today she is returning home with her family.
These girls are great friends and enjoy playing games and riding bikes together.
B. does not eat well yet on her own. She has a NG tube in so that we can give her the daily amount of medika mamba she needs each week.
M. had a very bad infection in one of his legs. He was unable to walk and was in a lot of pain when he first arrived. He and his mom stayed with us to get daily medication until he was well and able to walk again.
We have been working to reunite B with her family this month. We just found out her mom is very ill and near death. Her mom has refused medical treatment and said her sickness is not one a doctor can heal. Pray that we can come up with a good plan for B.
These 2 sisters are twins. The one on the left has been in our care 3 times now. It is the first time for the other twin. The are both doing well now and will stay until they finish their treatment here. They are always together and love each other so much.
Of the joy of a great nap.
Everyone always gets baby powder put on after a good bath.
lunch time !!
L. is always helping and loves to practice braiding her friends’ hair.
