We have a tent in the front yard of the clinic. It is currently set up for our intensive care kids from the RC. I love the tent. I love the kids in the tent. The RC is now located a few houses away from the clinic. I do not get to go there enough throughout the day. I have so many things to do here. The tent allows me and Lori to keep a closer watch on the kids. It also helps me in the middle of the night. They are right in the front yard and I can run out to them quicky if their is a problem. We feel really good about this set up for the time being. A tent is good and what we have to work with right now.
Claudette has been here since the end of December. She is severly burned. She cannot sit up, walk or stand by herself. She needs 24/7 care. She needs the support of many people. She needs to be in the tent so that all the other kids in the RC do not bump her, climb on her, hit her etc. You will understand this if you have been to the RC 🙂
She is healing slowly and has her sister Ti Rose (pictures below with Madeline) staying with her to help with her mental state of dealing with all that she is going through.
Ti Rose and Madeline
These two kids have several kwashiorkor. The girl below was admitted this week.
Nerenel has been with us about two weeks now.
We also took in two kids yesterday that are very malnourished. They are both on IV fluids (I will do an update this weekend on all the new ones). These two below on IV’s are in bad shape. Malnourished and several neglected.
There are currently 8 kids living in our little tent of joy. Eight kids that are receiving good care. Eight kids that are receiving and learning about the love of Jesus. Eight kids that are going to make it.

Madelene the day she was admitted-a life saved and changed forever
I want to keep the tent open. I want to help as many kids live as I can. So many of you have prayed for these kids, so many have given to the needs of RHFH, and we are so grateful to each of you! I am sharing this need with you and praying that the Lord will touch your heart to first pray for these precious children. And next to give if you are able. We currently have nannies that are covering the 12 hours shifts. It only cost $30 a day to be able to provide 24 hour care for these kids. $30 X 1 month (30 days)=$900. I would love to be able to raise enough funds for a least two months. That would take us through until the end of April. Would you be willing to donate to this special need? Questions? licia@realhopeforhaiti.org
