ANICE
18 months old and 11 pounds. Mother ill and was still trying to breastfeed her. She refuses to eat or drink anything. She is currently on IV fluids, and has a feeding tube going in through her nose to her stomach. We are giving her medika mamba this way.
GUIVELINE
5 years old —um kwashiorkor and weighs 23 pounds. I am guessing she will lose 5 to 7 pounds of water weight. You can see from her hair that she has been malnourished for a long time. She is currently on the medika mamba program.
JESSICA
15 months old and 13 pounds. Her mother refuses to care for her. Her grandmother found her laying in the house very ill and mother was outside talking to her friends. She is very sick and on IV fluids. But she is eating very well. She is currently on the medika mamba program.
