A couple weeks ago, thanks to your donations, we were able to give the older girls dolls to play with. They love the dolls with hair like them!
Each day the girls would have a different hairstyle for the dolls with different barrettes, beads, and braids in them.
Even if they didn’t have hair ties for the dolls the girls would be resourceful. One girl here used a plastic sack she found and tied it around for a hair tie 🙂
Using an old toothbrush and a bowl of water to brush her doll’s hair out
Putting beads in!
The girls love including the dolls in whatever they are doing, whether it is just playing, coloring, or hanging out
The younger girls have dolls they love to play with that are a little easier to take care of. They play with them during allotted play times throughout the day.
They love dressing the dolls, pretending to feed them, holding them, and playing with their toys with them.

This makes me happy. I remember how I loved to play dolls when I was young. Bless these little girls that they can have a more normal childhood
