Hello, my name is Pascal, and I’ve been working at RHFH since 2012. Throughout my time here, I’ve encountered many remarkable individuals, but the story of Ti Levi has always stood out to me. Ti Levi was one of the first patients at the nutrition center, long before I began working here.
Born in 1991, Ti Levi’s life was marked by immense challenges from the start. He was seriously ill from a young age, and his parents brought him to RHFH for intensive care. He spent some time here fighting for his health and survival. Over the years the RHFH has helped him as needed. For several years he had a small business selling prepaid phone cards, but the area where he was was overtaken by gang activity.
RHFH commitment extended beyond medical care. The staff ensured that Ti Levi received a quality education, sending him to school and later funding his university studies in computer science and English. Despite the many obstacles he faced, Ti Levi persevered and completed his education with flying colors.
Today, Ti Levi is a young man with dreams and ambitions. He aspires to become a successful businessman and firmly believes that his disability will never hold him back. When I first met him at work, I was struck by his intelligence and his unwavering determination to achieve his goals.
What makes me especially proud of my work at RHFH is witnessing how the organization provides opportunities for people like Ti Levi. With their support, individuals can not only learn and grow but also lead better, more fulfilling lives.
