Help us make improvements to the Rescue Center

THANK YOU THIS NEED HAS BEEN MET!!!

At the Rescue Center, we are constantly working to create a safe, nurturing environment where children can heal, grow, and thrive. This year, we have an important project that will directly enhance the comfort and well-being of the children in our care, and we need your help to make it happen.

Our Rescue Center is in need of some improvements, starting with a fresh coat of paint to brighten the walls and beds to bring new life to the space where our children spend so much of their time. A clean, vibrant environment can make a world of difference in their recovery, lifting their spirits and making the Center feel even more like home.

In addition to painting, we also want to purchase new 4-inch foam mattresses to replace the current bedding. Many of the children we care for are recovering from severe malnutrition and illness, and having comfortable, supportive beds is crucial to their recovery. These new mattresses will provide the comfort they need to rest and heal, giving them a better chance at a full recovery. We purchase the foam here in country and cut it to the size of their bed. Each mattress is covered with a protective waterproof mat.

We are reaching out to our community and supporters to help us fund this important project. Our goal is to raise $2000 for this need. Your donation, no matter the size, will go directly towards purchasing the paint and foam mattresses we need. Together, we can create a brighter, more comfortable space for the children who need it most.

From One of Our Staff Members:

“As someone who works closely with these children every day, I see firsthand the difference that a comfortable environment can make in their lives. The simple act of freshening up the walls and providing new, comfortable beds might seem small, but for our children, it means everything. It means a place where they can feel safe, cared for, and loved as they recover from the hardships they’ve faced.

We’re excited about this project and deeply grateful for any support you can offer. Every contribution brings us one step closer to giving these children the comforting and healing space they deserve. Thank you for standing with us in this mission.”

Please consider contributing to this fundraiser and sharing our mission with your friends and family. With your support, we can continue to provide the best possible care for the children at the Rescue Center and give them the bright, hopeful future they deserve. Thank you for your generosity and commitment to making a difference in these young lives.

Are these gribs the same size as baby beds in America? Would zippered waterproof mattress covers be something you could use?
If so, please consider adding them to your Amazon Wishlist.
    Something like this..

No they are all different sizes. That is why we have to buy the foam to make a good fit. Then we buy waterproof (PUL material) and have someone in Haiti sew special covers for each bed. They work really well.
