As we celebrate 30 years of Real Hope for Haiti, we want to share stories of children who have found loving, stable homes through our Hope Homes program. For children like Rémiline, Izabella, and Jessica, life started with big challenges, but each of the 24 Hope Children have found hope and healing with the support of a foster family who cares deeply for them.

Rémiline was abandoned at a very young age. Thankfully, her grandmother and father brought her to Real Hope for Haiti for the medical care she urgently needed. Later, her foster mother, Ismonie, welcomed her with love and has given her the stability she needed to grow up in a safe, supportive home. Rémiline now has a family who celebrates her growth and makes sure she has everything she needs to thrive.

Izabella, abandoned as a baby, also faced many health challenges due to her physical disabilities. But through Hope Homes, we were able to place her with a caring foster family that has supported her over the years. She has grown into a bright, eager 12-year-old who is thriving in school and dreaming of becoming a nurse to give back to her community.

Jessica was brought to us severely malnourished and struggling with the effects of kwashiorkor, a severe form of malnutrition. After we cared for her and her health improved, Jessica was placed with a foster family who has loved her as their own. She’s now surrounded by brothers and sisters who support her, goes to school, and enjoys a happy childhood that was once uncertain.

These children have been given the gift of a stable, loving home through the dedication of their foster families. They have a new start and a chance to experience the security and love every child deserves. Thank you for being part of this journey and supporting us as we continue transforming lives in Haiti.
