My name is Yves, and I am proud to be an employee at RHFH. Today, I want to share a story close to my heart—a story about my cousin, Patrick, who received exceptional care from our clinic.

When Tiati was young, he suffered a tragic accident. While climbing a coconut tree, he fell and sustained a severe injury, which left him paralyzed drastically changing his life. From the moment of his accident RHFH was there to help to provide the best possible care.

Recognizing the challenges he faced, RHFH went above and beyond. They rented a house for him and hired caregivers to attend to his daily needs. Those early years were incredibly hard—he had always been active and independent, and adjusting to his new limitations was heartbreaking.

But with time, the love of his family and the unwavering support of the mission helped him adapt. He found ways to enjoy life again, participating in programs and sharing joyful moments with friends. He lived for many years and brought joy to many people in the area. Now that Patrick is no longer with us, I want to say thank you. RHFH’s dedication allowed him to live a life filled with dignity and love. Your kindness made all the difference.
