Staff Spotlight-Caphlie

My name is Caphlie, and I’ve been working with Real Hope for Haiti since January 2023. I first started in the Cholera Treatment Center, then moved to the Rescue Center, and now I work in the area where we care for short-term patients at the clinic. I make sure they have everything they need for the day—clean clothes, food, and a safe place to rest. I also help with laundry and keeping their space clean.

I was born and raised in Cazale, and I still live here today. I live in a two-room home that used to belong to my mother. One of my sisters lives with me, along with my three children—one girl and two boys. I also have three sisters and one brother.

I really enjoy my work. I believe it’s important to have someone to care for you when you’re suffering. Being part of RHFH has helped me a lot. With this job, I can take care of my children, support my family, and begin paying off some debts.

I’m proud to work for an organization that helps so many people—especially children with malnutrition, patients with wounds, and those who suffered during the cholera outbreak. RHFH saves lives, and I’m grateful to be part of that mission.
