Recovered Patient-Djolensky

Djolensky, now five years old, was first admitted to the nutrition center when he was just 23 months old. At the time, he was suffering from a severe form of malnutrition known as marasmus and weighed only 9 1/2 pounds . His father, completely alone and without family support, brought him to us in the hope of giving him a chance at survival. From the moment Djolensky arrived, we implemented a personalized care plan, beginning with therapeutic feeding using F-75 to stabilize his condition and then started medika mamba. Day by day, we witnessed encouraging signs of progress—his appetite returned, his strength improved, and the visible signs of malnutrition slowly began to fade. Each improvement brought joy and renewed motivation to our entire team.

When Djolensky was finally healthy and ready to leave the clinic, we attempted to contact his father. Sadly, we learned he had passed away. Despite our efforts, we were unable to locate any other family members. Determined to provide Djolensky with a safe and loving future, we began searching for a family who could offer stability, teach strong values, and help him grow in faith. Several families expressed interest in caring for him. After thoughtful consideration, we chose a familyfamily—a couple with four children.

Today, Djolensky is thriving in his new home, surrounded by parents and siblings who love and care for him deeply. He attends the same school he began while at the nutrition center and regularly goes to church with his family. It fills us with pride and joy to see how far he has come. Though he is not with his biological family, Djolensky now belongs to a home where he is cherished, protected, and encouraged to flourish. Now in good health and weighing 24 pounds (11 kg), he is full of energy, laughter, and warmth. His playful spirit and joyful presence inspire everyone who meets him.
