Pictures from the Rescue Center

In the ICU at our Rescue Center, sleep is more than just rest—it’s part of the healing process. Many of the children who arrive here are weak, malnourished, and fighting serious illnesses. Their little bodies are exhausted. That’s why having a clean, comfortable, and safe place to sleep is so important.

Each child has their own bed, a blanket and pillow, and the care of watchful staff nearby. It may seem simple, but for these children, it’s life-changing. In this quiet space, their bodies begin to heal, their strength returns, and hope starts to grow again—one peaceful night at a time.

Rest is medicine, too.
