A Look Inside the RHFH Nutrition Center

At the RHFH Nutrition Center, kids come for help with things many of us take for granted—like eating well, walking, or even holding a spoon. Some are recovering from malnutrition, while others are living with disabilities in a place where it’s hard to get the care they need. But no matter their background, every child here is treated with care, respect, and love.

One important part of what we do is therapy. For these kids, therapy is more than stretching or exercise—it’s a way to get stronger, gain confidence, and have fun. Sometimes the goal is something simple, like learning to sit up or stand on their own. Other times it’s working on movement, balance, or using their hands more easily. These small steps make a big difference in everyday life.

Even though resources can be limited, the staff at the center stays committed. They turn therapy into playtime with music, games, and colorful toys—because kids learn best when they’re having fun. Each session is a chance to cheer someone on, and every bit of progress is something to celebrate.

This center is a special place where kids are given a chance to grow, heal, and feel proud of what they can do. It’s not always easy, but it’s always worth it.
