Pictures from Cazale-Bibles

Bibles mean so much here. A lot of people don’t have one, and when they finally get their own, it’s like holding treasure. I’ve seen people wrap their Bible in plastic to keep it from getting wet, or carry it everywhere they go — even to the market or the fields.

It’s not just a book to them; it’s their comfort when life feels heavy, and their reminder that God hasn’t forgotten them. Some people can’t even read, but they’ll still keep a Bible close, asking someone to read a few verses out loud whenever they can.
