This little cutie pie was left sitting outside our gate on Thursday morning. A little cute old man set with him and bought him a bag of water and food. He told him that he did not need to worry, his mother had left him, but the yard she left him in front of was full of mothers to take care of him. We have heard of so many kids being found in ditches, trash dumps, etc in the years we have been here. I am happy his mother did not choose that for him. The law in Haiti is that the child must be left in the spot it was abandoned until the local authorities come to do paper work. I called the local judge and he came within a few minutes and did the papers. We are okay with this. It does not make sense in our minds to have to wait, but its not our country and he had the company of a little old man with him. God took care of him. We have not named him yet.

November 28, 2011 at 9:59 pmHow about “Blessing”? I’m glad it only took a few minutes for the officials to get there, I was pretty mad on her behalf when I read your FB post about this. Still working on my flesh obeying the Lord’s will honestly 🙂 esp when it comes to children.
