WEDSON

His mom died several months ago.  He is an only child.  This is his second time with kwashiorkor.  He is 16 months old and weighs 13 pounds 8 ounces. He is currently on the medika mamba program.

DAVID

He was born with 2 club feet.  His mom died shortly after he was born.  He father is also dead.  He was begin cared for by his aunt.  He first visit to the clinic was when he was 13 days old.  He weighed 8 pounds then.  He is now 8 months old and weighs 7 pounds.  He is unable to get surgery here due to his low weigh and being malnourished.  We are going to keep him for a few months and try to get him to gain weight. He is currently on the medika mamba program.

CLAUDIA

She is 8 years old and this is her second time with kwashiorkor.  She weighs 55 pounds.  He legs were so swollen that they split open.  She could not even sit up on the first day that she arrived.  She is beginning to improve and is walking short distances by herself.  She is currently on the medika mamba program.

BERLINE

She is 15 months old and weighs 15 pounds.  This is her first time with kwashiorkor.  She is an only child. She is currently on the medika mamba program.
