Answer the Question, Dude!

By: Casey Zachary

Real Hope for Haiti is very grateful for all of our friends and supporters that faithfully read this blog and share it with others. In some ways, we very much feel as though we share life with you in that we all have a passion for God and the Haitian people.

In many ways, our readers know us very well. Those of you who have visited Cazale know us even better. (By the way, if you have visited Haiti, please consider writing a review of our organization on Great Non Profits). But however well you think you know us, I’m sure there are idiosyncrasies, quirks, and odd tidbits of information about us that would absolutely entertain you and help you to get to know the RHFH staff missionaries even better.

So, here is your chance to ask us any question about any topic you would like.

Questions about our childhood, life in Haiti, favorite things, best memories, biggest challenges…anything.

It can be funny or serious or somewhere in between. You can ask a general question or a question to a specific person.

RHFH staff missionaries and families will be answering these questions. These people include Zach, Charles, Lori, Enoch, Licia, Carmelo, Henley, Trey, and Ameyah (although Ameyah’s answers might be somewhat limited)

To submit a question, just write it in the comments section of this post…. I will compile a list of answers and post them in a few days.

Let the games begin

Question for Lori and Licia: Who is your most intellectually astute and handsome younger brother?

  2. Bekki says

How do you deal with the instability of the country where you serve? I mean, I know you guys and I know that you have many dedicated workers who love you dearly. But are you ever fearful for your personal safety or for that of the children?

  3. Carly says

Licia and Enoch, How did you guys meet? Did you deliver your babies in Haiti?

  4. Vicki says

Do I have to ask one question at a time??? 🙂

How did you guys meet your husbands?
(Looking for a love story here……)

  5. Dolores says

How did your family end up moving to Haiti and doing mission work?

I was just going to ask a question like Vicki’s. I would love to know more about Enoch in general and about his childhood. He has such a nice smile 😀

I also wanted to add that I loved the video that Casey did a year ago and the realness that it gave. It would be nice to have an updated one. It could be a good way to give answers to questions people have about the clinic and the kiddos.

  7. Rebecca says

To Enoch, Carmelo, Henley, Trey- What language do you think in?

  8. Bob & Dee Pring says

We vote for more videos too! Would the Community Group consider starring in a video for the blog? I’d love to know their names, see their faces, hear their voices and learn about their vision and goals for their lives, families, village, country, see them at work and…. anything and everything!
My husband & I are also curious about Charles! He has the advantage of seeing things from an intense perspective-Haitian and (courtesy of living with Lori, etc) American. He is so quiet about himself-yet bits we hear about all the work he does amazes me! What’s a day like in the life of Charles? What shaped him into the man he is today? What does he dream of for the future? What’s it like trying to keep up with Lori? 🙂

  9. Nadia says

How does one go about making arrangements to volunteer with you guys?? (not a group, just one person?) and what (besides travel) costs are involved?!

  10. Bonnie says

I’d like to hear more about the land you have purchased and plan to develop, building a hospital? I think I saw that on a video last year.

    Thanks!

What are your favorite local getaways in Haiti? Beach, mountains, etc. What is your favorite Haitian food/dish/snack/drink/fruit?
