School sponsorship

by:Enoch and Licia

Real Hope for Haiti started a school sponsorship program many years ago.   It has grown to around 130 children.  These kids are mostly from the village of Cazale.  All are in need.  We could have over 1000 kids on this program if we had the funding and time.  There are just so many that need help.  Education is very important here in Haiti.  Parents consider it a privilege for their kids to be able to go to school.  They are thankful when they are able to send a few of them.  But it is hard to choose who gets to go and who has to stay home.  RHFH provides everything they need for the school year.  This includes, book bags, books, notebooks, all school supplies needed, uniforms, shoes, belts, barretts, tutoring, and fees for actual school.  We are so grateful to so many that have helped with this project. The faithfulness of the sponsors has been an encouragement to us and a blessing to many children.

You can send a child to school for 1 year for $250.00 US.  This can be given as a one time gift, monthly, bi-monthly or whatever works for you as long as you get the $250.oo to us for the whole year.  You can donate through paypal or send it into our home office  Real Hope for Haiti/P.O. Box 23/Elwood,IN/46036 include a note or memo stating it is for school sponsorship.

I have two siblings sets below that are in need of sponsors.  These kids are currently going to school on credit, with the promise that RHFH will pay the bill. 🙂

This is Wiltana.  She comes from a family of 12 children.  The parents are working hard to keep the other kids in school but cannot afford to sent the youngest school ages ones.

This is Talineda.  She is the sister of  Wiltana.  Their mama had a baby the same night of the earthquake last year.  Their house was damaged and they have been living in a tent since then.  The family is making a lot of effort to make ends meet but just cannot cover the cost of these two for this year.

This is Kerlengy

This is Celita she is Kerlengy’s sister.  There father died when they were little.  Their mother cannot find work anywhere and has two small children at home.  She tries to by in bulk and resell the items to make an income for herself.  But she does not have enoughmoney left after they eat to send the girls to school.  Their aunt has been helping them in the years past but lost her job and cannot afford to help this year.

If you would like more information or even better would like to sponsor these sweet girls let me know at licia@realhopeforhaiti.org

I will sponsor a child for school. I can afford to send $25 a month. The remaining $50 per year can be used for whatever other needs you have or can go toward another child’s schooling. Your choice.
